Public Governance Series

The LAGPA 2024 Conference, under the theme "New Perspectives and Challenges of Democracy and Governance in Latin America," will take place from October 22-24, 2024, in Mexico City. This highly anticipated event brings together prominent scholars, public officials, and experts to explore the pressing issues of democracy, governance, and public administration in the region.


The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) is pleased to announce the call for nominations for its prestigious awards, the Donald C. Stone Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement and Well-Being of IASIA and the O.P. Dwivedi Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Advancement of Public Administration and Public Policy Worldwide, for 2025.


The LAGPA 2024 Conference, organized by the Latin America Group for Public Administration (LAGPA) — the regional group of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) — and supported by Universidad del Valle (Colombia) and the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) (Mexico), will be held in Mexico City, Mexico, from October 22 to 24, 2024.


The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is excited to announce two significant appointments to its Board of Management. Prof. Liezel Lues has been appointed as the Vice-President for the Africa Region, while Dr. Mohammad Saleh Ibrahim Albakhiti and Prof. Nura Mohamed joined the IASIA Board of Management, representing the Middle East and Africa regions respectively. These appointments reflect the Institute's commitment to enhancing its governance with exceptional leadership and expertise.


We are pleased to announce the release of the EGPA 2024 Conference Collection, featuring a selection of papers published in the International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS). This curated collection explores the conference theme: "Strengthening Democratic Governance for Better Public Policies and Services."
